Ruto fired by Jubilee party
Jubilee is clearly willing to do anything to frustrate deputy President William Ruto. This was confirmed after Jubilee’s National management committee (NMC) arrived at a decision to fire Ruto from being the party’s deputy leader.
The national management committee(NMC) afterwards forwarded the decision to the National Executive Council which is chaired by the party leader and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Speaking on the new developments, Jubilee Secretary-General, Raphael Tuju, confirmed that the NMC had resolved to fire Ruto as the deputy party leader.
His fate is now on the hands of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“The NMC discussed the matter and resolved to remove the DP as per the party constitution. The matter is active, we have the recommendations of NMC and now only waiting for the party leader to convene a NEC meeting to deliberate on the matter,” said Tuju.
Tuju went ahead and said that President Uhuru Kenyatta was expected to either all for a meeting with NEC or delegate the matter to be decided after his approval.
The National Management committee(NMC) is jubilee’s second strongest powerful organ and its mandate is to set agendas for NEC.
