Anne Thumbi summoned by Jubilee over disloyalty
Nominated MCA Anne Thumbi has been summoned by the Jubilee party over disloyalty and disrespect. She is expected to show up on 27th November to defend herself against the accusations.
She was summoned by the committee vice chairperson Wanjiku Nduati.
“You are hereby required to appear on November 27, at 10 am when the complaint against you will be heard by this committee sitting at Jubilee headquarters in accordance with the Jubilee Party Disciplinary Regulations, 2017,” Wanjiku said.
The youthful MCA made headlines in 2019 after she moved to court to stop the burial of the late Ken Okoth. Ann claimed to be a mother to Okoth’s son and demanded that he too be recognized.
Through her lawyer Danstan Omari, She complained of having been excluded from the obituary despite her wish to appear.
“The mother and the wife (of the deceased) have deliberately and unfortunately opted to exclude me from the funeral and burial arrangements of Okoth,” she claimed.
