Governor Obado attacks Raila Odinga
Migori Governor Okoth Obado seems to have had it all and has decided to open up his truth to his party boss former prime minister Raila Odinga.
Governor Obado accused Raila Odinga of suppressing dissenting voices in Luo Nyanza but said he will put a stop to all that. He went ahead and vowed to liberate the Luo community from Raila.
”Time has come that we must be allowed to exercise our freedom of speech without fear. We are tired of the burdens we have carried for decades, it is time for the liberation of the Luo community,” said Obado
Obado went ahead and accused Raila Odinga of misleading the Luo community especially on matters Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) which was going to do nothing but overburden Kenyans.
He told the Luo community and the entire country to reject the document without a second thought.
“We don’t want anything to do with the BBI, which will only add burden to Kenyans by increasing seats for elites and undermine democracy through intimidation, blackmail, and coercing into submission of other leaders through arrests and court charges,” he said.
