Elizabeth Koki suffocated to death
A report by government pathologist Johansen Oduor has confirmed that city lawyer Elizabeth Koki was suffocated to death. Koki was found lying dead in her bedroom on 8, February 2021 in Syokimau, Machakos.
The autopsy was carried out at Montezuma funeral home and it has also revealed that suffered moth injuries which are consistent with a gag.
”She was suffocated to death,” read part of Dr. Oduor’s report
According to police investigations, the main suspect Eloges Paul Christian Kadima had told detectives that he had had a heated argument with Elizabeth over some lady’s photos on his phone.
On the night of her death, Elizabeth had called Christian to her house in Syokumau, for them to have a conversation about the photos.
According to a report by a detective through people daily, the two had had a history of indifference.
”The main suspect has been grilled and from the look of things, the two seem to have had on and off the relationship. They also have a history of fighting,” said the detective
According to what Kadima had told the detectives, Elizabeth had fallen from her bed and hit her head on the floor but according to the released autopsy she was suffocated to death.
In his statement to the police, Kadima claimed that upon realizing that Koki was unconscious, he left the house and drove in her car to the Nairobi Central Business District (CDB), where he met a friend and narrated to him what had happened.
Kadima later booked himself lodging in the CBD while his friend drove her car to Riruta, he told the police.
According to a close family member to Kadima, the two were planning to walk down the aisle in March.
