George Floyd’s Funeral
George Floyd may have lived his life a normal man but his death has played a huge role in the fight against racism especially black people.
Floyd was murdered by a police officer who had his knee on his kneck despite him saying multiple times that he could not breathe.
His death opened up thousands of wounds with black people protesting all around the world over such uncalled for deaths. George Floyd has finally been laid to rest and thousands came together to honour his send-off. People including top celebrities were seen in the ceremony.
The funeral service for George Floyd was held in Huston, Texas, at The Fountain of Praise Church on Tuesday, June 9, the city that he called home.
When alive he was a common man, killed as a result of his SKIN COLOR.
Alas, in DEATH he was a beacon of hope against RACIAL discrimination globally and buried like a KING.#GeorgeFloydFuneral#BlackLivesMatter pic.twitter.com/e1tJbR6UI3

One of the most amazing part of the #GeorgeFloydFuneral , was when an unknown artist 👩🏼🎨 painted an impressive portrait of #GeorgeFloyd (UPSIDE-DOWN !) 😳, in just minutes at his funeral. https://t.co/vyvZyU6fKh pic.twitter.com/AqstAOMp7O
