President Uhuru Kenyatta has today addressed the nation in regards to the ongoing Corona Virus Pandemic. Our head of state was addressing the fact that some residents are not taking the issued directives seriously.
Uhuru Kenyatta has warned that the government will take the “severest action” against any individual who breaches directives given by the Ministry of Health in regard to the Covid-19 and as a result put the lives of other Kenyans in danger.
This came after police forced gatherings in Eldoret to disperse. Also, a day ago Kilifi Deputy governor tested positive of the virus after residents said that he was refusing to self-quarantine despite showing symptoms of the virus.
The President has also said that they are working with Google Loon, in partnership with Telkom Kenya, and this will help Kenyans access to high speed 4G internet services.
Google Loon is a project that uses balloons to extend connectivity to the many people around the world who have no internet access.
This move will help Kenyans living in areas with poor internet connectivity because they will be put up to date with whatever happens in the world.
