Siaya to the world
Larry Madowo, a former reporter at NTV Kenya who is currently working for BBC News has never been shy of his past.
Through a post on his social media handles, Larry has revealed that they did not own a tv while he was growing up. That however, did not limit him from becoming one of the world’s top journalists.
Larry posted a video of him at work and told his followers never to say that dreams don’t come true.
”Siaya to the world! We didn’t even have a TV growing up so it’s surreal that I get to present a BBC newscast watched in every corner of the world. Don’t say dreams don’t come true!’‘
Larry is purely an example of hard work and passion since his days in Kenya, while working for Nation Media Group.
The journalist relocated to Washington DC to further his studies before starting his new job at BBC news.
Many of his fans congratulated him for his achievements with majority thanking him for being their motivation and a definition of where you come from does not define where you are going.
