U.S. presidential candidate Joe Biden has joined the rest of the world in celebrating the life of the fallen black man, George Floyd, a man who was killed by police in the US.
The politician has announced that he is going to visit the family of George Floyd on Monday. He will travel to Houston on Monday and meet with the family of George Floyd, two weeks after Floyd’s death in police custody.
According to his two aides, Joe is expected to offer his sympathies to Floyd’s relatives and record a video message for the private funeral service scheduled to take place on Tuesday in Floyd’s hometown of Houston.
Biden, the former vice president, is often praised by supporters for his ability to offer comfort to those in mourning.
George Floyd is a black man who passed away after a white Minneapolis police officer kneeled on the back of his neck for several minutes, even after he complained he could not breathe. He was unarmed at the time of the arrest. He was also very cooperative which is why people were angered by the police.
Ever since people all around the world have been protesting against the police over that uncalled for murder.
