Jacque Maribe describes Jowie as a nice guy
Jacqiue Maribe has opened up about her relationship with her ex-lover Jowie Irungu. The two had been dating until September 2018 when they were charged with the murder of business lady Monica Kimani.
Jowie had just proposed to the media personality months before their arrest.
During her interview with True Love, Jacque mentioned that the two met while she was at work and even got engaged.
”We met while on the job and actually some of our friends knew we were engaged
He was nice, he genuinely was. I will never come out and say anything to the contrary. He was very nice to me. I think this is why it is important to first learn somebody before you rush into something like this, because i do believe it was rushed, ” she said
Jacque went ahead and revealed that by the time Jowie proposed, they had only dated for an year.
”I had gotten to a point in my life where i was like people get engaged even after six months. At the time i thought i was ready plus he wasn’t the kind of guy that would give me too much pressure because i used to work a lot. I had found someone who understood the kind of woman who is passionate about her career, which is very hard for us ladies to get”
She also narrated how in love they were and were actually planning to tie the knot before the end of 2018.
”This man was that person for me. The one you feel that if i ever had any regrets, this is it. I don’t believe in regrets but if regret was a person then this is it. I saw now he’s moved on and people will be like why talk about him? I don’t like talking about him out of the respect i have for him moving on with his life and whatever,” she added
She also clarified that the two had broken up before the arrest and not while Jowie was in jail like he had said.
