Kenyan Students Trapped In China Over Corona Virus
The government of Kenya has released 1.3 Milion for the students that found themselves trapped in Wuhan, China following the coronavirus outbreak.
According to Government Spokesperson Cyrus Oguna, Kenyan government has made contact with the students and been able to secure medical services for them. The Chinese Government has also donated Ksh.500,000 donated to help the students get supplies.
At the moment, Kenya has already set up two laboratories to test suspected cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection.
There was a scare about a month ago after a Chinese man got stopped at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and secluded at the Kenyatta hospital with fear that he was infected. Samples were even flown to South Africa for a second opinion but the man was okay.
