Lady bee talks about her life journey
Gospel musician lady bee opened up about her life journey during an interview with Mc Jessy on his show ‘Jessy Junction’
She had her daughter when she was just 16 years old. During the interview, she narrated how she became a mother and the struggles she had to endure.
Lady bee described the younger version of her as one that loved to explore and try new things out. She was rarely at home and that’s how she met this young man who ended up fathering her daughter.
She got pregnant but never realizes, it was her mother who realized and told her. Asked about her baby daddy, she described him as stupid and naive just like she was then.
”Nilipatana tu na chali mwingine fala , unajua mkipatana mafala wawili mnatoa ufala, mnakua na cocktail ya ufala,” she said

She however refers to her daughter as a gift and it’s still the best thing that ever happened to her.
Just like in any African community, Lady bee had to go through a lot of isolation for being a teenage mother. She was seen as a failure and embarrassment and no parent wanted their children to be associated with her.
Her parents were however supportive and they helped her raise her daughter as she went back to school. Her father was her support system and he pushed her even more to be a better person.
She has however confessed that raising a child alone is never easy. As the child grows up, her needs keep increasing since expenses such as school fees come in.
