Latest Amazing Privacy Whatsapp Features
Whatsapp is definitely one of the most used apps, especially in Kenya. It is an easy way to communicate with friends and loved ones when we can’t call or see them face to face.
Over the past few months, they have introduced a few features that most people do not know about yet. Privacy is key when using Whatsapp. No one wants another person going through their phone at any time. This is why these features will change your life.
Fingerprint Lock for Android
The first feature was launched on 31st October 2019. The fingerprint lock feature allows users to only unlock their WhatsApp application only by using their fingerprint.
To enable it, tap Settings > Account > Privacy > Fingerprint lock. Turn on Unlock with fingerprint, and confirm your fingerprint
Starting today, Android users can add another layer of security to their WhatsApp messages with fingerprint lock. ? Learn more about how to enable the setting here: https://t.co/biwzjhTwop pic.twitter.com/mVDoE4gurk

The rollout of a Group feature
This particular feature prevents administrators from adding WhatsApp users to groups without consent. You know how sometimes you find yourself in a group of strangers not knowing who added you, the feature gives you an option to restrict the people who can add you to groups.
You can enable it by navigating to Settings in your app, then tap Account > Privacy > Groups and select one of three options: “Everyone,” “My Contacts,” or “My Contacts Except.”
Avoid being added to a group chat with people outside of your inner circle. ?♀ Now you can have more control over who can add you to a group. To enable this setting, update to the latest version of #WhatsApp! https://t.co/tvpg5iZk62 pic.twitter.com/0j9dN31wqA
